Great sightseeing trip to Valle Encantado

Barbara and Judith from Switzerland and Emma from Canada at the "anfiteatro" on the way to Valle Encantado. Nice warm day to see the steppe landscape.

Plaza Patagonia

Elizabeth, from Colorado, practised shopping conversations at Plaza Patagonia, our favourite coffee place and gift shop. 

Laguna El Trebol

Martha went to a quiet place, Laguna El Trebol, to do her homework. We chose the same spot for an afternoon swim and we all had mates and a nice conversation in Spanish.

Fitz Roy

Sergio, one of our favourite mountain guides, climbed Fitz Roy last December. Congratulations!!! He is now climbing at Valle Encantado with Terry from Canada

Hora de cerveza! Beer time!

After lessons or hikes, we met at Berlina, one of the local breweries for a beer and some talk in Spanish of course, Matt and Sam from Alaska, Bink and Martha from Oregon, Emma from Canada, Judith and Barbara from Switzerland, Natascha from Austria, the teachers, Pili and Mariana and one of our mountain guides, Fede.

Rio Manso

Matt and Sam, from Alaska, started their lessons at Rio Manso. After class, asado and small talk by the fire, camping with friends.

Mutantes

Bink and Scott made empanadas (Scott called them ¨mutantes¨, I wonder why)

The taste was great! we had them at the beach with Martha, Violeta and their teachers, Silvi and Pili.
